Miragaia studio has a fabulous view of the Douro river, where you can enjoy the rabel boats sailing. Miragaia’s name is due to the view from the porch where it’s possible to see Gaia (Mira = see + Gaia – name of the city on the other side of the river). The lodge has, as well, a panel were it’s possilbe to see how the houses were made formely by the use of nogging (Pombaline Cage or Taipa de Rodízio) in their construction.
